- Stop performing, start living!
- Strength isn’t about hurting others, it is about protecting what matters
- Authenticity can not be hidden

- Stick to truth, don’t leave your path only to amplify what people want to hear

- Without honor a life is utter meaningless
- The world has enough clever people what it needs more honorable ones

- Protecting someone from the consequences his/her own actions is preventing her/him from learning a valuable lesson.
- People who have an easy life forget that others who work multiple shifts are often responsible for it
- The heart of a company are not stockprices or politics, it is integrity!
- The only way to survive an ugly world is to search for its hidden beauty.
- Valuable knowledge comes not through mere information but through a way of seeing clear
- When you tune out of life for too long you might risk how to tune in again

- People can spend a lifetime in a place and yet never really be in it. Being in it requires attention, awareness, connection, interest and yes…the love for being there
- As long as you look into a mirror you only see your own reflection and your limited desires, when you start looking out of a window you start seeing the world, YOUR endless world that is waiting for you

- Life is about sharing. Everything we do we owe to others and to mother nature. Too often we believe we do it all ourselves, nothing is further from the truth. Just look at yourselves, what you wear and eat. Look around, all the things you buy, gather and use, your home, your interior the furniture, the kitchen, bathroom etcetera. All made and sold by others. This is a mainfeature of true sight, acknowledging how much we owe to others, how much there is to be grateful for. Not seeing that, REAL seeing, is narrowing and blurring your mind, just living in a fog of selfishness.
- Money, being fortunate, is not an accomplishment of one person or a family, it is brought together by many people and many events, from the past till this moment.
- It is not wise or helpful just to use money to save people from their bad habits
- Use capital to build for communities, no just to please the top 1%
- When you stand up for yourself for the first time you perhaps expect the world to end, calm down, it won’t
- Kindness is the gold with which we mend things broken in the world
- Family is who shows up when the storm hits
- Do not let resentment consume you, it can become a heavy door behind all the good memories will get buried

- Offer in your lifetime as much light you can to balance out the darkness that comes with saying goodbye to loved ones
- Leading and guiding, whether a family, company or oneself is foremost creating and giving space and the ability for others to grow and find answers
- Home is not just a place, it is the people who understand you

Misbruik van macht heeft verdeeldheid als bron, leidt tot het bevoorrechten van enkele onderdanige en streeft controle, beheersing en andere egocentrische doelen na. Dit speelt op alle niveaus van de gemeenschap - van het gezin en de familie tot in organisaties, gemeentes en hogere overheden en een regering.

Vrijheid kent meerdere lagen. Het is meer dan doen wat je wilt, meer dan kunnen en durven zeggen wat je denkt. Mijn vrijheid kan niet bestaan zonder inzicht in de oorsprong en de samenhang der dingen. En het verwerven van inzicht in hoezeer al deze dingen ons - jou en mij - vormen en bewegen in ons handelen. De missie van ons leven, en daarin ligt werkelijke vrijheid, is die samenhang ervaren door te leren kijken, niet met een begrensde blik maar met de ogen van de ruimte. Vrijheid ligt niet in het verwerven van bezit en macht maar in het ervaren van het gegeven dat we een ruimte delen waarin eeniederr in principe vrij is.

Physics suggests that the future has already happened. Our intuition tells us that the future can be changed, but Einstein’s theory of relativity suggests that there is no real difference between the future and the past. The future, present and past may actually not be as different as we think, says science writer and astrophysicist Adam Becker. He explains this mind-bending idea to Michael Marshall and Melissa Hogenboom, with help from the animators at Pomona Pictures.

Een kind dat in zijn ‘persoonlijke ontwikkeltijd’ besloten heeft om nergens aan te werken, maar er voor kiest om (lekker) een uur lang voor zich uit te staren, heeft dat kind ‘zelfverantwoordelijkheid’ of juist niet? Is hier sprake van ‘eigenaarschap’ of hebben we het over ‘verloren onderwijstijd’? Lisette Bastiaansen bespreekt met haar Masterstudenten Pedagogiek vragen rondom het begrip eigenaarschap. Lastige vragen, waarbij snelle antwoorden niet zomaar gevonden zijn.
